Introduction

Tajweed ( ﺗﺠﻮﻳﺪ ) is an Arabic word meaning correct pronunciation during the Holy Quran recitation. It is a set of rules, which dictate how the Qur'an should be recited. It comes from the root word 'ja-wa-da' meaning “to make well”, “make better” or “improve”.

تجوید عربی زبان کا لفظ ہے جس کے معنی تلاوت کے دوران درست تلفظ کا استعمال کرنا ہے .

تجویدایسے اصول و قواعد ہیں جن سے قرآن پاک کی صحیح تلاوت کی جا سکے۔

یہ لفظ 'جا- وا- دا' سے نکلا ہے جس کا مطلب ہے' بہتر کرنا'۔
